Comedian Sarah Silverman and Daily Show co-creator Lizz Winstead have had it with what’s happening in Texas.

Just like us, they are sick and tired of watching anti-choice politicians telling women how to live their lives.

So Sarah and Lizz have teamed up with us, New York Abortion Access Fund, and Lady Parts Justice to host Clear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can Choose, a star-studded online telethon to raise money for the fight to stop the attacks on abortion access in Texas. It will stream live from New York City this Monday, November 18, from 7-10 p.m. ET.

You have to be part of this and join us from home as the biggest names in comedy, music, entertainment, and activism stand with Texas women and against injustice.

RSVP on Facebook to tell them you’re going – and get updates directly from these amazing women.

This event will benefit pro-choice organizers and activists working on the ground in Texas who provide counseling, funding, and even transportation to women seeking abortion care. As abortion clinics are closing and Texas women are facing cancelled appointments with seemingly nowhere to turn, we must lend a hand.

The response to this event has been amazing. New celebrities are signing on every day to join the effort, but you’ll see Dascha Polanco of Orange Is The New Black, Jemima Kirke of HBO’s Girls, Kathy Najimy from Sister Act, King Ad Rock of The Beastie Boys, comedian Amy Schumer, Joan Walsh of MSNBC, and so many more artists and smart people – you can get the full list on the Facebook event page.

As a native Texan myself, I am especially touched by this effort to protect our sisters back at home. No one should face the kind of desperation that Texas anti-choice politicians have forced on these women and families. That’s why I hope you take part in this event on Monday – all you need is the Internet.

Join Sarah Silverman, Lizz Winstead, and me this Monday from 7 to 10 p.m. ET – get counted officially and help spread the word by RSVPing on Facebook.

Thanks for all you do to make choice real for women.

P.S. If you don’t use Facebook, you can still watch the live stream. We’ll be posting it on ProChoiceAmerica.org on Monday night.
