Federal Injunction on Proposed Law to Defund Texas Planned Parenthood, Medicaid

“A secretly recorded video, fake names, a grand jury indictment, congressional investigations — these are the building blocks of a best-selling novel rather than a case concerning the interplay of federal and state authority through the Medicaid program…Yet, rather than a villain plotting to take over the world, the subject of this case is the State of Texas’s efforts to expel a group of health care providers from a social health care program for families and individuals with limited resources.”- District Judge Sam Sparks

Sam Sparks wrote the above quote in regards the latest attempt at defunding Planned Parenthood via denying funding from Medicaid. He blocked the Attorney General Ken Paxton’s proposal with an injunction. Paxton’s law has been blocked thanks to another act from a higher court. Still, Paxton, being an extreme anti-choicer -see upcoming article- will be appealing and attempting to pass it into get-your-religionlaw again within a month. I hope Judge Sparks will continue to serve Texas women and health care services of all sort to those with low income; men and women alike.

Still, with Judge Sparks I feel a bit of hope…I am becoming more grateful for  federal judges as of late and this is a my latest reason as to why. First, I’d like to say I post this with a hopeful and grateful heart for U.S. District Judge, Sam Sparks (Austin), for blocking the latest anti-choice and anti-life bill.

Despite Judge Sparks blocking the bill attempt, Paxton is an anti-choicer determined to cause more families chaos by countering the injunction with an appeal. Paxton’s current proposed bill, if passed, will take away health care and sexual reproductive care thousands upon thousands of lives; for both women, and men. The bill aims to close Planned Parenthood by removing Medicaid funding.

While there are now only 30 Planned Parenthood clinics left in Texas serving only a small portion of the 4.3 million Texans on Medicaid, Spa. Despite the small portion it is able to help, thankfully U.S. District Judge Sam Sparks says he is uncertain those on Medicaid would be able to find any other equally adequate and accessible care or services.

Furthermore, Sparks’ has ordered Texas to wait on their original plans to defund and remove Planned Parenthood until

he has made his ruling. Texas had originally intended to defund and get rid of Planned Parenthood services in January, along side Alabama, Arkansas, Kansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. These states have also been met with blocks, thankfully.

What baffles me is even more is Paxton is still trying to use the videos proven and verified by 13 states as being a false, unreliable, misleading and simply put: video of lies and BS, he thinks he can still use that as enough reason to shut down Planned Parenthood…The ones who were found not guilty, and then use the other side; the “evidence” used to prove the anti-choicers had created a BS attempt to slander PP and were found guilty.  The anti’s cannot come up with any better lie so they are milking those proven fabricated and BS videos to til they are legally forced to move on.

By citing the videos as his reason for the proposed defunding bill I suppose I can look on the bright side and use it as further evidence and proof  to what I always say about anti-choicers and their inability to present truth to back up their claims about abortion.

I love what Judge Sparks wrote in response to the bill:

“A secretly recorded video, fake names, a grand jury indictment, congressional investigations — these are the building blocks of a best-selling novel rather than a case concerning the interplay of federal and state authority through the Medicaid program…Yet, rather than a villain plotting to take over the world, the subject of this case is the State of Texas’s efforts to expel a group of health care providers from a social health care program for families and individuals with limited resources.”

The stupid videos should have, by now, been added to the long list in history, 1880-present, that these anti-lifers have done. But the Texas government has been desperately holding on to their “hope” of people forgetting these falsified videos have been ruled in Texas and and hope Texas and other states on the sick and forged deceit used to create those  Planned Parenthood videos…even though it has been proven in multiple ways, including legally, that the videos were in fact inaccurate and put together by anti-abortion extremists attempting to malign, ruin and ultimately close down all Planned Parenthoods.

Once more, the only reason for Planned Parenthood’s attack is due to their help to women seeking safe abortion access. Abortion is health care and should be  treated as such. Because anti’s are such persistent liars when it comes to health care, they have made sure to lie about everything from abortion being murder or harmful to the woman or that unwanted kids should be given up for adoption or other despicable lies.

And, yes, each of those are not true. Abortion is  not murder, abortion is not harmful for women and is actually one of the safest medical procedures available. Not to mention, adoption agencies and foster homes being full and proven to cause turmoil for most of us (us being anyone who has lived it or researched the facts, even; myself being one…for both of those).

Paxton is an extreme anti-choicer and a threat to the citizens of Texas; from women who do and women and men who do not need abortion care. According to what his beliefs state on his site he is proud and has his mind set on succeeding in his plans to end abortion state-wide; and he plans to do this apparently by starting with Planned Parenthood and the deceitful content within the anti-choice videos for his evidence.

Anyone who has to use deceit and lies to prove they are right … hmmm … something not right about that. But it goes in accordance with all I say about anti-lifers: they have nothing but lies, so they go in circles, using proven lies time and time again, hoping to wear people down. Because they don’t have real facts to back up their claims against abortion they turn to the verbal, mental and psychological abuse and harassment of the women seeking them and then those who perform abortions or assist in any way or form… but to these people they pose a possibly fatal threat. In 2016 there was an extremely high number of attacks on abortion providers / clinics. How pro-life……

Note: More information and detailed writing to come… I’ve set up a new agenda regarding my posts and videos; let’s hope I stick with it! 🙂

I will be writing more on this topic as well as the Texas Attorney General as he a threat to any woman who needs or wants an abortion at Planned Parenthood or somewhere else. Also, I’ve made a video to be posted asap of the 9 misconceptions that surround Planned Parenthood and the truths behind them. During this time where evil has entered the white house there could not be a more vital or important time to make sure everyone understands and knows the TRUTH and PROOF behind the lies spread by any and all anti-choicers regarding Planned Parenthood. Please check back and share if you would, for after truth is exposed it is our job to share it for any and all to see.
