Make Sure You’re Aware of Fake Abortion Clinics- Video

If you are interested in women’s rights, considering abortion or just want to learn truths; especially during this time, please make sure you check out this video as well as many, many other resources (I will be providing soon as possible) proving the unsafe Crisis Pregnancy Centers, Fake Clinics, or whatever falsified name they choose to give….

You’ve walked into what is known as a crisis pregnancy center (CPC), one of around 3,000 faith-affiliated facilities in the U.S. where pregnant people are frequently dissuaded from seeking abortions. CPCs often pose as unbiased care providers, and many offer services including pregnancy tests and sonograms. Some (though by no means all) are, in fact, licensed medical facilities.

But these centers also resort to manipulation or even outright deception to prevent people from accessing abortion care, obscuring their religious affiliation, spreading health misinformation, and failing to inform clients of the full range of reproductive options available to them. Their tactics range from dressing their volunteers in scrubs to fool clients into thinking they’re licensed medical professionals when they are not, according to the National Women’s Law Center, to manipulating Google results so that searches like “abortion providers near me” bring abortion seekers to their doors, as Gizmodo reported. What’s more, some even operate on the taxpayer’s dime, as a report from Cosmopolitan showed.

This week, the Supreme Court heard the first oral arguments in National Institute of Family and Life Advocates v. Becerra, or NIFLA v. Becerra. The case concerns a 2015 California law called the Reproductive Freedom, Accountability, Comprehensive Care, and Transparency Act, or FACT Act, which requires CPCs to let clients know if they aren’t licensed to provide medical services. It also mandates that CPCs notify clients about “all family planning and pregnancy-related services” — including the availability of no- or low-cost abortion.
